For those of you who want to join our family, but may not be interested in performing, there are unlimited opportunities to support our communities with CHEER SF as a periodic volunteer. Volunteers for CHEER San Francisco have the option of volunteering on a per-event basis, or making the same one-year commitment as the Performing Volunteers. If you decide to make a year-long commitment, and become an Auxiliary Volunteer, you are entitled to all the same benefits as the Performing Volunteers. Periodic/Auxiliary Volunteer duties range from helping us raise money with our spirit buckets, holding signs and banners during various events and parades, driving our truck in the parades, to team administration duties, and providing information and answering questions at our recruitment booths at the various Bay Area Pride Festivals. Not to mention that just being present and helping share the SPIRIT of CHEER San Francisco makes a huge difference on the impact we make in the communities we entertain.

CHEER San Francisco is always searching for talented individuals to join our family for a day or, we hope, a lifetime. In addition to our wonderful cadre of event volunteers, we have a special need for a permanent photographer, videographer, medic, and someone who can lend occasional legal advice.
